Jim, SNADS allows for a Normal priority transfer and a High priority transfer. I think that's why you have the two streams that can be associated with one LU. I'm sure you know that an type 6.2 LU can have multiple sessions. The limitation is probably in SNADS and RSCS (?) on the mainframe. A SNADS queue is associated with an LU (local location, remote location, network ID, mode) definition. There is very little overhead associated with creating a new independent LU on the mainframe and on the AS/400. Is there a real reason for the reluctance to create a new LU? I think this would be the best way to go.
