RE: Old Licenced Program run on New OS version

I do not think that the COBOL compiler will work. OS/400 starting with V4 
allows different versions of some Licensed programs, but only if there is 
not a new version for that OS release level.

Hi All,

Can we upgrade OS/400 V2R3 with all the licenced program on F35 to new
V3R2 but leaving the V2R3 COBOL on the system (not upgrade) ?
Are there any problems running a previous created program object and
compiling using old version on new OS version ?
Well, this all because of budget consideration :-)
