Midrange had a simple set of programs to do what you want from March 96: http://www.midrangecomputing.com/ftp/prog/96/b960306 Bryan Dietz 3X Corp. boothm@ibm.net on 08/15/98 01:42:15 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com cc: (bcc: Bryan Dietz/Columbus/3X Corp) Subject: re: seeing another's screen Is there a utility available that allows one to see another's screen? I'd like to be able to answer the phone, hear the user's problem, and bring up the user's screen as-is and follow the user's steps. STRCPYSCN has two drawbacks: 1) it is a step behind. 2) it can't (so far as I can figure out) be brought up after the user is already in trouble. Of course the gorgeous solution would be to have the solution open two screens on my desktop: 1) the user's screen and 2)the debug screen. -- ----------------------------------------------------------- boothm@ibm.net Booth Martin ----------------------------------------------------------- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
