Well, I'm sure you have your reasons, but why are you still on V3R1 when
it's no longer supported and V3R2 would be a free upgrade ?
Anyway, in answer to your question about whether Object Connect is
available for V3R1, I believe it WAS (probably no longer) available in
V3R1 as a separate chargeable PRPQ.  It was rolled into OS/400 as a no
charge feature in V3R2/7.
