What I have done to handle this problem is to create my own version of   
the
WRKSPLFA command, which is option number 8 on several displays, such as   
the
the
one that comes up when you use WRKOUTQ.  I then have the command call my   
own
program which allows me to do a variety of things, such as copy the   
spooled
file
or work with the job that generated the spooled file, or even work with   
the
spooled file's attributes if that was what your really wanted to do.  I   
have
the
program conditioned so that it only does this for programmers and no for   
users
based on user class.  You need to place your custom command in a library   
ahead
of  QSYS in the library list.  If you want more details or code samples,   
let
me
know.
