We have a file that is 7.5G and it takes 24 hrs to reorg.
If you have ptf mf19047 (not sure which release - we're on r320) and are 
specifying "re-use deleted records" in your file description, you do NOT 
need to do a reorg. 
If you do not have this ptf, or its equivalent for your release, but are 
still specifying "reuse deleted records", you will still have to do a 
reorg.
