We are setting up clustering on two partioned servers on one AS/400. Part of the steps are: 1) Replicating the databases from one Server to the other initially. 2) Changing the ACL on each database so that LocalDomainServers has Manager Access in order to get the clustering feature to work. On item 2, changing the ACL, we've come up with some idea's. I was at the web site: http://www.as400.ibm.com/tstudio/workshop/snippets/macros/search.mbr/srchbykey and searched by 'Domino'. They have some commands there that should be of assistance. One is RNHPUPDACL. However, when I run the command as: RNHPUPDACL SVRNAME(GDISYS) DBFILENAME(TESTACL.NSF) ACLENTRY(LOCALDOMAINSERVERS) ACLLEVEL(*MANAGER) ACLFLAGS(*IS_SERVER) I am getting the error: Message ID . . . . . . : CPF9898 Severity . . . . . . . : 40 Message type . . . . . : Escape Date sent . . . . . . : 08/05/98 Time sent . . . . . . : 10:58:31 Message . . . . : HTACLUpdate, called by UpdateACL, returned error status 1059, severity 5, message text "The name is already in the list.". Cause . . . . . : This message is used by application programs as a general escape message. I was under the impression that I could use this command to change existing entries in the ACL.
