Have a look at the DDS keyword SFLCSRRRN(&rrn), this will return the relative record no. the cursor is postioned on. PS You also need to use RTNCSRLOC(&record &field), to check that the cursor is actually located in the subfile, the &record field contains the record format name that the cursor is in. These fields need to be specified as hidden in the sflctlfmt record. HTH.
