× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

no.  the change takes effect immediatly.

Probably.  But some sort of arrangement could be made with 'the lord
of all things secure' to implement such a plan.

That would work as well, as long as you didn't have any library lists
set by job description.
