Sort the file down by the L1 fields and create a modified version
of program to read the sorted results.... Use LARGE blocking on
sequential input..... I suspect, the keys, are badly spread out and

If you don't like the sequential idea, at least copy the file and reorg

get the keys in a little "tighter" order...... Key sequence is slow by
