Now that my ignorance is out in the open, I may as well go all the way!

Anybody have suggestions for a good "theory" reference library?

On my bookshelf, I have:

Discrete Mathematics
Kenneth Ross & Charles R B Wright
Prentice Hall, 1985
(good for set theory/database fundamentals)

Compiler Design Theory
P M Lewis II, D J Rosenkrantz, R E Stearns
Addison Wesley, 1978
(good for finite state machines, parsing and syntax-directed processing)

Buck Calabro,
Still attending the school of hard knocks at
Commsoft, Albany, NY
