Anything "unusual" at your site ? Proper temperature & humidity control ? UPS that filters out any voltage spikes ? Maybe you should push IBM to investigate WHY you are having all these disk failures. Maybe you have a faulty power supply in the AS/400 (I'm assuming internal disks here - or power supply problems in a 9337 ?). Have they tested to see that the disks are actually bad and it's not just faulty diagnostics or an intermittent controller problem ?
