Nail,

i'm shure that the NT recommendations are private opinions of the salesman
and not
of the SAP company. I think the reason is that they don't understand and
know the
AS/400 concepts.

I'm sure Rochester would be very interested to hear that after all the
time they've invested with SAP.
Is this 'official party line' from SAP, or maybe just the personal bias
of the salesman you're dealing with ?
I had head that AS/400 installs were the 'fastest growing' business
segment for SAP.  Still obviously way behind the total number of Unix &
NT installs, but growing at a faster rate.
