Unfortunately, you are correct! :-)   Of course, it (TCP/IP, FTP, SMTP)
was shipped in a separate LP, it did not include TELNET (that came in
V1R3 along with NETSTAT) and you were charged a handsome sum for it so
that might have been some of the reasons why it didn't get a lot of
exposure at the time.
