>Can I run a 170 like an Advanced/36? With real SSP, not 36/mode?.
Any RISC AS/400 can run the S/36 advanced machine, and run real SSP (7.5)
as opposed to the S/36 EE

Can't run Text Management on the AS/400, but there is a utility available
on the S/36 to convert the Text Management files to DW/36, and once they
are in DW/36 mode, they can be easily converted to OfficeVision/400 format.

You can use Client Access to sign on to the AS/400 side, and then pass through
to the S/36 machine in the AS/400. Works great for 5250 emulation, doesn't
work using the graphical access connection last I tried.
