John & Alan, In a message dated 98-07-08 09:41:59 EDT, you write: > I now have a service show up at 7am > every weekday to pickup my tapes and take them away. Another .02 -- I once had a client in a small town (with no off-site storage service) that arranged with their bank for the tapes to be dropped in the night depository. Bank employees would place the tapes in the vault the next morning, and the night operator would pick up the oldest rotation from the bank on their way in to work. Came in handy when they wanted to sack the night operator, as the tapes weren't stored at the person's house. It was also cheaper to make a run to the bank than paying the "bring me the tapes I just gave you" fee that most storage firms charge! Regards! Dean Asmussen Enterprise Systems Consulting, Inc.
