>> If I try to compile this member as a module (CRTRPGMOD), I am getting error here. The compiler is saying that Factor1 (*ISO0) is not valid. Defaults to blanks. But the same member if I compile as a separate direct program using CRTPGM, then it is working well. Well, whatever else you're doing, it's not CRTPGM since that only builds a program with previously compiled modules (i.e. the output of CRTRPGMOD). So - I'll assume you mean CRTBNDRPG. Since CRTBNDRPG simply does a CRTRPGMOD followed by a CRTPGM, there are no differences - so we won't find the answer there. So, I suspect that somehow you are invoking the compiler differently. My best guess is that for CRTRPGMOD you have used a pre-V3R7 version of the compiler which does not support the '0' searator option. When you tried CRTBNDRPG you were using a V3R7 or later version. This could be because of using two different systems, or because the you specified *PRV as the release target for the CRTRPGMOD attempt.
