I just changed 2 PC's connected to the AS/400 via CA/400 V3R1M3 to use TCP/IP instead of the Netsoft router. Each PC has 3 PC5250 sessions configured with "Bypass Signon" checked. Before this changeover, both PC's required only 1 dialog box with user/password to connect to the AS/400. After this changeover, 1 of the PC's still only required 1 dialog box signon for _all 3_ sessions while the other required 3 dialog box sign ons, one for _each_ session. After scratching my head a bit, I remembered that I had removed SNA Communications Support from one of the PC's as well. Sure enough, that PC is the one requiring 3 dialog box signons, 1 for each session. Aha! That's the key, I thought. So, as a test, I removed SNA Communications from the _other_ PC. Now that one required 3 dialog boxes. So I put SNA Communications support back in. No fix. It still requires 3 dialog boxes. Has anyone else heard or experienced this? I'd like to have one dialog box signon to cover all sessions. Thanks. -- -Jeff jlcrosby@fwi.com +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
