Depending on the definition of critical. For business apps: COBOL & RPG
Unless Email, Excel are critical.

I wasn't trying to start a language war - I've seen where that leads to - I
thought we started out talking about pointer usage? But anyway you're
probably right, this discussion isn't going to break any new ground or
educate anyone. Your comment that C should not be used for any commercial
system is interesting though - I wonder what some of the worlds' biggest
commercial and critical systems are written in? Hmmmm. But let's move on...
