Subject: Printers not working properly after V4R2 upgrade: Verify Alignment?

Hello all:

I just performed my first serious task on an AS400: I just upgraded from V3R7
to V4R2. It was relatively painless, although at the beginning of the install
my tape drive had to be in ready status. I have no idea why since the
installation media is CD-ROM! Anyway, for all spooled files that are sent to
prt01 I get the message: Verify alignment on printer PRT01. (I G N R E C).

The print jobs now have no alignment, they all come down as errors (we use
BARSPOOL), and they have no headers or spacer pages. I didn't think any of this
would change with the upgrade and I have tried working with every printer option
I can think of to no avail.
I would really like to hear your thoughts about this, or should I just call IBM?

Thanks
