IBM seems to have a lot of enhancements in this area - some already here, some
coming soon (probably in early Septemberwith V4R3).  There was a teleconference
on this - the presentation slides are at:

One interesting new offering are specially configured and priced mixed-mode
servers to work with Lakeview, Vision, or DataMirror solutions - cheaper than
buying a duplicate traditional system.
