You're correct, DUPSAVTAP was a TAA Tool.  It was in the OS/400 V1R2 release
of the tools, because I distinctly remember creating it on our /400 when we
got it, then moving the source to our /38 and creating it there as well.  It
made our /38 to /400 migration MUCH easier.  I don't remember what release
DUPTAP was added to OS/400, but that was when Jim discontinued DUPSAVTAP.
That was about the same time that the pre-compiled PL/I programs for
DUPTAPIN/DUPTAPOUT appeared, so that that tool actually became usable by us
unwashed folk with no PL/I compiler.
