I haven't seen or heard anything but I was under the impression that we
should see the start of some new
print advertising similiar to what people saw at COMMON. It probably won't
have anything to do with the 'birthday' but should be interesting.

I wrote a Dear Lou (that's Cookie man to a few) letter a while back and
eventually ended up speaking with Tom Jarosh. It was a very good
conversation and he mentioned at that time they were re-working print
adverstisements that they were planning to run around this time frame. He
mentioned that he considered them to be 'agressive'. We'll see.....

Keep your eyes open....

Saying that the AS/400 is old (outdated) technology is like
saying that an IBM compatible is old technology. The AS/400s
of today are as different from the first ones that came out as
the latest PC technology is from an 8088 based PC.

I'd love to see an ad campaign "reintroducing" the "old
technology". Introduce it the way you would a speaker-
tout all it's great virtues and once the audience is interested
in knowing what this great machine is, THEN tell them it's an
AS/400.

It's as new now as it ever was!
