Well, that's just the way it works (yes - admittedly the help text may
not give you that exact impression).  If you exit with the QUIT option
(Esc/99) it will end all open Telnet sessions.
If you have a chain of them and want to end only the last one, sign off
from the active session with
SIGNOFF  ENDCNN(*YES)
