Have you tried one of the generic WSCST' s (i.e *WSCSTA4 ) . A while
back I needed an HP5 to print legal size and found that the *WSCSTLEGAL
worked fine. As for the condensed print if you overide your printfile
parameters (Character per inch) CPI and (Lines per inch) LPI and Page
rotation to 0 degrees it should use your preferences.

Has anyone set up an HPLaserjet4 compatible printer with A4 letter size
to print a 198 character report without having it automatically condense
the font. I am trying to print to my European locations and the 198
character reports all print in tiny characters. All my printers are set
up as remote writers via TCP/IP. I am using NiPrint as a local LPD sfw
client and HP JetDirect cards for the network printers. Any thoughts on
what the manufacturer type and model and the Workstation customizing
object should be in the outq description for theese fields?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
