Hi, Just another opinion on the STRHOSTSVR's saga. I am saying this under correction. QUSER or QPGMR, I can't remember which, had no authority to the STRHOSTSVR command under V3R1. As I can vaguely recall, this was fixed under V3R2 (or possibly a ptf for V3R1). The funny thing was, as was mentioned, the joblog does not show this, there was an obscure message in the system log. The only solution at the time was to give the offending profile the necessary authority or resort to starting manually. I do not have a delay in my startup program and everything comes up fine. There's my 2 cents worth!
