Suspected problem with TCP/IP Telnet PTF MF18581 (This has been marked
PE - PTF in Error).

MF18581 has been superseded by MF19412 (released 98/06/11 and not on a
cum package).
Don't know if they'll be another cum package before next scheduled date
of July 21st.

They are still investigating the problem. Not sure why they didn't just
say to omit MF18581 from the cum install and download/apply MF19412
instead.

We had a customer who had already started the V4R2 upgrade when we found
out about the withdrawal of C8132420 on Friday afternoon. We couldn't
get hold of a copy of C8083420 (customer had thrown his out a few days
ago when he received C8132420, and I had returned a huge stack of
tapes/CD's to IBM a weeks ago, including that one!) so we went ahead and
installed C8132420 but had it omit MF18581.
Installation seems to have completed OK.
