John, If you can get the reports into a database file in the format you want you can send them to an Internet recipient with the SNDDST command. Depending on the version of OS/400 you have you may need to pick up some PTF to handle Internet addressing on the SNDDST command. The AS/400 has an SMTP client and server, as well as a POP3 server. But you will only need the SMTP capabilities for outbound mail. You will need to configure TCP/IP, Remote Name server, SMTP and SNADS. Your AS/400 will also have to have a connection to the Internet or a mail server that can route to the Internet. The Redbook "AS/400 Electronic Mail Capabilities" can be helpful in the configuration. For a commercial product you might want to look at NetMail from Net400. They are a partner company of ours and have print distribution in their e-mail product. There are other 3rd party products, too. If you are more ambitious you can use the QtmmSendMail API to send outbound mail. It supports more functionality than the SNDDST interface.
