Usually I am notified about a week ahead of their test. Sometimes less. At that point, I think it's less likely a few words from me will change their strategy. I like to see people running on Y2K tests for several months as a thorough test, but they are not calling me to ask for my advice on whether they should do it one way or the other. They just want to know if they should be aware of anything specific with our product, and I try to give them a little more info than that.
