I have conneted 2 AS400s with a modem eliminator (Data Comm Warehouse or
Blackbox), use a V24 port on each AS400 and connect each to the modem
eliminator.  Config each side to do SNA (line, controller and device,
config SNADS if you need to distribute objects).  V24 supports speeds upto
19.2K
