It can be downloaded at no charge from IBM's AS/400 Snippets site at http://www.as400.ibm.com/snippets CGIDEV includes two comprehensive sets of AS/400 CGI programming aids: one for ILE RPG; the other for REXX. Most of the really useful stuff resides in a service program, whose contents can be called from any ILE language. To obtain CGIDEV, go to the web site mentioned above, select search, then search on keyword = CGIDEV. Although all the source is viewable, you only need download two items: the CGIDEVD savefile and the CGIDEVDH README (to get an overview of the library's contents and functions and for installation instructions). CGIDEV runs on V3R2 through V4R2 systems. It is distributed in source form and includes a REXX procedure (REXX is included with OS/400) that compiles all the modules, programs, service program, etc. CGIDEV also incudes functional template programs (one ILE RPG, one REXX) that illustrate most of the library's functions and can serve as the basis for your programs.
