GREAT ! They are about 15 feet apart BUT basically opposite each other and NO, 
no false
floor, so cable would have to be run around the bacl of the 530, behind the 
mux, the
ups and the battery rack that are at the end of the room and then to the 500 
(isn't
that nice of me to give everyone a "brief" layout of our computer room <BG> ?) 
for a
total of around 50' so that would work !!

I WISH I had that problem (that would mean a BIG computer room <BG>)...
