Hello Wolfgang, My understanding is as follows and I will accept correction from anyone who truly knows: I don't know the current state but NatWest were bailed out by IBM and OS/2 Lan Server. That saved the bank from destruction but didn't help the brain-cell who started the project. The WestPac bank in Australia were saved from going down the same route. They thought that if NT was good enugh for NatWest it would be good for them too. Again saved by OS/2. Both banks kept windows for the clients (to save some face) but the NOS was OS/2. I don't know what happened to the Commenwealth Bank. Probably stayed with OS/2. Anyone realise that MS has been inplementing SAP on NT since '95? Supposedly they intend to replace their legacy systems. Read the current issue of the Data Warehouse Institute Journal. No mention that their 'legacy' systems are mostly AS/400's. SAP and NT ? Sounds like time to dump any MS shares you may have. Yet another chance to bag MS. Yay team!
