Assuming that you've got a multi-page subfile and that you're looking for 
the relative record number of the subfile record as opposed to the actual 
row/column, the file information data structure for the subfile RRN is  B 
378 3790SFLRRN.  You can also use the DDS keyword SFLCSRRRN.
