  • Subject: Counting E-mail messages

I have a client that has Lotus Notes 4.51 running on a 40S, V4R1. We are
using the Lotus Notes SMTP-MTA 1.06 to send SMTP e-mail to the Internet.
They want to know how many e-mails they are sending and receiving in a
given time frame.

Is there any mechanism available to count the number of outgoing SMTP
messages (either Lotus Notes or OS/400) and count the number of incoming
SMTP messages (Lotus Notes only)? Is there any log, etc. that I could
view/massage/extract data from?

Any help is appreciated! TIA!
