Re: UDATE moving to 8 digits???

It would be nice if same UDATE returns both 6 digits and 8 digits date whatever
we need. Like TIME returns HHMMSS or HHMMSSMMDDYY based on the result field
length, in the same way, if we have a mechanism like

MOVE     UDATE 60    <<returns MMDDYY or the 6 digit current date in System
format>>
MOVE     UDATE 80    <<returns MMDDCCYY or the 8 digit current date in System
format>>
MOVE     UDATE 70     <<returns MMDDSYY or the 7 digit current date in System
format>>

If the above one is available, then lot of UDATE conversions from 6 to 8 and
vice versa can be reduced.
