Come on people. If we're going into this level (L3?), then why don't we   
reintroduce the chaining indicators C1 - C9. Those were the absolute   
pits. When did we quit with those things, anyway. There was a really good   
hair coloring experience...the program turned it white/gray/out and then   
we had to explain "My father/mother's hair turned at an early age, so it   
must be hereditary".

These are easy. How about matching record indicators (M1 - M9 and MR) or
Halt indicators (H1 - H9)?
