You can use the CPYFRMTAP Command. That will work just fine..

Hi Folks,

I had a friend ask me if I could find the answer to a problem he is
having. They have an IBM AS/400e 9406-620 and an NCR 3450 running Unix
(AT&T) SUR4. The NCR has an 8mm drive and the AS/400  hasa 9427-210 8mm.
They want to know how to get data from the NCR to the AS/400. They have
tried the tape method with no success (and limited technical knowledge
so they may be missing something...). They are migrating from the NCR to
the AS/400. Anybody done this (NCR to AS/400, tape to tape OR something
else) ?
