Dave,

No horror stories, but I've been warned that the IPCS if heavily utilized could 
overload the (internal) backplane. Since NT requests for data utilize the same 
disk controllers as the AS/400, there could be significant additional traffic 
on the system bus that might cause performance degradation for both IPCS and 
AS/400 native requests. I have no idea how to quantify this.
