Check out the Code snippetts on the Tech studio 400 page.  They have a hit
counter CGI pgm.  You could also turn the
access logging.  It "counts" all hits.  Those include one for every page as
well as a "hit" for each picture.  You could easly
extract the number of records in the file.

Can anyone point me in the right direction. I am attempting to find a Hit
Counter for a  V4R2 Web Server. Anyone have any suggestions were I may find
one.
