An IBM Distinguished Engineers is - - a uniquely skilled and experienced technical individual, - the most asked-for person by customers and IBMers, - the person you seek for advice, leadership and approval on your most complex proposals, - the one with a wide range of experience across multiple customer sets, - the technical leader of difficult integration projects, - the one who is a management consultant, - the person called in critical situations, - the role model of others in their organization.
