See Charter 34 in the CA for Windows 95/NT - setup manual. It describes the
process to connect a Win95 workstation, through the serial port, to an
AS/400 to use as a console.  This PC doesn't connect over Ethernet, but
rather with a serial cable.

There is _no_ AS/400 configuration process required for this process. And,
surprisingly (at least to me) is that this process works well and offers a
no-hassle console.

Be aware that IBM warns against using a Win95 console as the console during
a V4R2 upgrade. I have talked to at least one user who has done us, although
he had some trouble. IBM says a 16-bit Windows PC works fine and that the
problem will be corrected soon (see the V4R2 PTF stuff for more),
