You are 100% correct, IMO.  As I alluded to yesterday, this department seems
to think that IS people can be replaced like a janitor or a CEO (hope you'll
forgive the little jab at Apple there).  Cost of Living (which is nearly
_always_ lied about) is one of the biggest crocks.  Sticking with the "tell
the truth" theme, "sure you'll have to move half way across the country to
find another job if this one doesn't work out, and the sale of your house here
will buy you a nice duplex where you're going to have to go, but there's _NO_
state income tax!".  I _SWEAR_ employers in Florida must think that we all pay
a million USD/year in state income tax...
