The lookup file actually consists of two files. The physical file is keyed by customer number and contains the lookup word (i.e.: ADAMS, BREWREY, etc.) with all of the lookup words converted to upper case. The logic in the prohram is smart enough to eliminate words like COMPANY or INC. Then there is a logical file keyed by the lookword, which also contains the customer number.
