I am feeling stupid, but I can not find the answer to this question:

I want to initialize a date field with May 2nd, 1997 in the D spec.

I tried this and it didn't work:

0005.00 hdatfmt(*mdy)
0008.00 d DateTest s d DATFMT(*ISO) 0009.00 d

Inz('05-02-1997')

What say you? Is it easy?
