Subject: HEX-fields in data-transfer from AS400 with CA

Fellow Midrangers,

When using CA/400 to transfer files from AS/400 to the PC, we "sometimes"
receive this data in Hexadecimal. Even the DSPDIRE-command outputfile gives
this problem.

Our configuration :
AS400 : 620 with V4R1M0 and cumpack C98013410
PC : Win95 with CA/400 with V3R1M2 and service pack SF46059

Has anyone of you have had any experiance with this ?

TIA

Chris
