Is anyone else tending to see more and more of the same we are compliant letter- addressed to Dear Customers and Suppliers: ? It is sort of the quick fix of the non believers. I saw one the other day that claimed to be following the AIAG Y2000 Self Assessment Plan but the company and its other divisions had not the slighted thing to do with automotive industry. These things are being signed by VP & General Managers The questionable letters on Y2K compliance can cause trouble for the exec but it might also get thrown down the hill to IS &/or consulting or ISVs as but they [IS/Consultants or ISVs] told me - not me episodes. Do you feel at risk when this happens?
