Assuming the trigger program is properly written (that is, not going
off the "deep end" of a parameter; writing to an input parameter; etc.)
then you should not be receiving a domain or hardware storage violation.
Such a failure would indicate that data management is passing you
addressability to storage not in writeable user domain (which would be
a bug).  Is it possible for you to supply a small piece of code which
creates the failure?
