If the deleted records are still in the file (as shown by DSPFD xxxx
*MBRLIST) it's possible to SAVOBJ to a savefile, copy to a database
file, and basically parse the records out of the data - dropping the
sequence/check data at the end of the 528 byte record..  Hopefully these
aren't variable length records!    :-)

I believe that's what the article you recall reading probably used.  I
vaguely recall the article, but can't remeber where it was.
