Re: AS/400 License Management Error

Neil and others:

SF43692 has been applied for a while on our system as well as the clients.

I sent a problem record to the S-LINE (We don't have the s-line service.)
and insisted on a human(e) response via the telephone!  They actually
called me back!

PTF SF45949 on C8048320 is apparently still being distributed.  It creates
this error and SF47083 (which DOES NOT SUPERCEDE IT!) will correct the
problem.

I wonder why this was not HIPERed.  (Are you listening IBM?)

When I get time, I will check this against the problems detected with
SF46509 and SF46059. (Don't you love the way the two numbers are so close
<bg>)

Well, it's a long shot, but if this is a twinax connected PC do you have
PTF SF43692 applied ?
Did you just install cum package C8048320 ?  This PTF isn't on it.
